
Great Lakes Taco, a leading Taco Bell franchisee with 44 locations across southeast Michigan, kicked off the new year with its highly anticipated annual Kick Off Rally in January 2025. Designed to energize and inspire, the event brought together team members from all over southeast Michigan to celebrate successes, set new goals, and embrace the rally’s powerful theme: “Experience Makers.”
The “Experience Makers” theme centered on the idea that every employee—from front-line team members to restaurant and corporate leaders—plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience. Whether it’s through a warm smile at the drive-thru or perfectly crafted tacos, Great Lakes Taco emphasized that great experiences begin with great people.
The rally was packed with excitement. Team members were honored for their dedication, innovation, and ability to create memorable moments for both guests and coworkers. Awards, branded swag, and surprise giveaways added to the fun and festive atmosphere.

Franchise leaders reflected on a strong 2024, which included store growth, record sales, and countless stories of above-and-beyond service. But more importantly, they looked ahead to 2025 with a renewed focus on empowering employees to be confident, creative, and consistent in delivering the Taco Bell experience.
